DAD DANCING – A NIGHT TO REMEMBER Featuring THE UNDERSKIRTS, SOFIAHH, PARADE & HIGH JUMP

Please note this is an 18+ event

THE UNDERSKIRTS

The Underskirts are a Manchester based 4 piece all girl band. Originally set on creating country and folk style music their collective writing has diversified their sound. With layered harmonies and twisted melodies the Underskirts will be difficult to forget.

PARADE
parade are a Manchester based alt-pop group, the name coming from an Arthur Rimbaud poem in which the closing line reads “I alone hold the key to this savage parade”. A packed out headline gig at soup kitchen followed a cameo alongside Sun Kil Moon at RNCM; the Skinny describing the scene as “part Eyes Wide Shut orgy, part masquerade ball”.

SOFIAHH
Rising from the ashes of post-punk group Hartheim comes SOFIAHH, a collective with their eyes set firmly on oblivion. Sonically there are similarities with their former guise – gravelly vocals that flit between Interpol and Ian Curtis, serpentine strands of guitar – yet this time the tar-drenched layers of electronica move to the fore.

Here’s there debut single/video: The Knots.
